All prepackaged Interwoven applications can be deployed out of the box in a matter of weeks. Or you can customize and extend these applications with the flexible, standards based Interwoven Software Development Kit (SDK). Developers with VB or COM experience can create new applications with the development kit to meet an organization's specific requirements.
By supporting open standards such as XML/XSL, J2EE and COM the Interwoven development iToolkit leverages the security, scalability and functionality of the entire WorkSite infrastructure—maximizing your return on investment while ensuring a low total cost of ownership.
The Interwoven WorkSite Development iToolkit is available in two versions to support enterprise standards:
- The Interwoven WorkSite iToolkit is specifically tailored for the Windows NT environment and uses your existing investments in the Microsoft infrastructure.
- The Interwoven WorkSite MP iToolkit is multiplatform, 100% Java-based solution that is J2EE compliant and runs on a variety of platforms including NT, Unix, Microsoft, Windows 2000, Solaris and Linux.
The SDK is an optional add-on, and can be purchased from your local reseller or OIA sales rep.
