End-users handle eForms with a full-web interface (available in 10 languages). This workflow portal is fully customized depending on the user rights and preferences. It can also be integrated into an existing corporate portal through built-in portlets.

Real time follow-up and alerts
Users participating in a workflow get real time notification during the course of the process.
They receive fully customized emails advising them of: actions assigned to them, actions they are requested to assign, requests that have been closed, actions overdue or cancelled.
They can access the portal at any time to check the status of their requests via a comprehensive real-time audit trail.
Statistics and Reporting
The built-in dashborads provide supervisors with real time detailed graphical views of on-going and closed workflows (total number of on-going processes, most used process by a given user, delayed actions, average processing time, …).
For further data manipulation and analysis (reports, cross tables, OLAP cubes…), WorkflowGen enables export of data to dedicated Business Intelligence tools (Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Cognos…).
Administration and design
WorkflowGen offers a full-web based tool to design and monitor workflows (available in 5 languages). Administrators benefit from a graphical designer to literally draw the processes they want to implement.
Those processes are then stored and can be shared with other users or workflow software thanks to the use of the XPDL standard (XML Process Definition Language). WorkflowGen features an advanced versioning system allowing non-stop service, even in case of process upgrades.
Administrators can finely manage the users and groups participating in the process, possibly synchronizing information with existing directories (Active Directory, LDAP…). Detailed information about on-going or closed requests can be easily monitored thanks to graphical built-in scoreboards, or sent to Business Intelligence tools for advanced statistics and reporting.
Process implementation
WorkflowGen is a BPM / Workflow software specifically designed to automate human and system workflows quickly and easily. It can handle both simples and extremely challenging processes, from 2 to hundreds of participants and actions.
Participants can be a single person, a list of persons or a list of persons with a coordinator.
A task can be assigned manually, automatically (to a person selected by a third party application…), in self service, by a coordinator or temporarily delegated to another user. It can also be assigned to the manager thanks to hierarchy management (possibly plugged on existing directories).
The process designer can finely manage notifications (through customized emails) and exceptions (delay, cancellation or error). The WorkflowGen BPM / Workflow software can be used to implement challenging processes involving:

PDF forms
WorkflowGen supports PDF format so that users can create eForms by just scanning their existing paper forms and converting them into eForms. Users can also create a new form, without any programming, simply using any usual document publishing tools, like MS Office or any software featuring PDF conversion.
Moreover WorkflowGen offers out-of-the-box features for attaching documents to a form and for managing a document validation process.

Integration
The WorkflowGen BPM / Workflow software can be seamlessly integrated into an existing IT infrastructure. Existing directories are leveraged through synchronization with user management database. Built-in features enable database access from the forms or from the workflow engine, allowing data import/export at any time.
WorkflowGen comes with a Development Kit, allowing plugging of the workflow engine on virtually any external systems. The Development Kit consists in:
