iManage Threat Manager is now available
iManage Threat Manager protects your sensitive data by identifying malicious attacks (phishing attacks or impersonation of an actual user) or internal threats with the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency. By leveraging historical and contextual information in iManage Work, iManage Threat Manager uses adaptive behavioural modelling and machine learning to detect, investigate and respond to attacks that compromise sensitive information, with minimal “false positives”. It can easily push alerts and supporting information into a security information and event management (SIEM) solution to create an integrated attack timeline.
For further information, contact OIA.
iManage Security Policy Manager is now available
Security Policy Manager allows you to manage your global security policies, including ethical walls and barriers, to meet today’s increasing demands. Integration with iManage Work ensures that security policies can be instantly established, adjusted and removed, all without refile or reindexing of documents and workspaces. This ensures there are no delays in new documents appearing in search results. Security Policy Manager is also able to secure content across a wide range of non-iManage repositories, including network file shares, and time and billing systems. Maintaining access can be the responsibility of the IT service desk or the matter owner or their delegate, with full auditing of all changes.

Tips and Tricks
Protected Mode for NRLs
In the Desktop Clients 9.2 and above, NRLs to Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents now open in Protected View mode as standard with Office 2010 and above. The behaviour is configurable via the registry - in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Nrl\Shell\open\Command, replace
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Interwoven\WorkSite\Nrl.exe" /IManExt3.ProtectedOpenCmd /l "%1"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Interwoven\WorkSite\Nrl.exe" /iManext.opencmd /l "%1"
New Registry Key Configures Name for Non-NRL Documents Mailed to Customers
Previously, the registry key NRLFileFormat applied to both NRL links and documents. The Desktop Clients 9.3 and above include a new registry key with a string value of FileFormat that can be added under the following paths:
For x86: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Interwoven\WorkSite\8.0\Common\Option
This approach will allow users to send or export documents with names that are more meaningful to other people. You can format this string just like NrlFileFormat, which can be a combination of AttributeID and zero or more common characters. For details on configuring this key, please refer to the Desktop Clients Customization Guide.
For further information on any of the above, please contact OIA on +61 8 9223 1700 or email@example.com.
