compareDocs Integration with Work 10.2
DocsCorp has announced its latest version 4.3 U3 of the document comparison solution compareDocs offers full support for iManage Work 10.2, via REST API. This gives clients the flexibility to use this integration in an on-premises, cloud or hybrid iManage environment, and once configured, compareDocs will seamlessly integrate with the traditional FileSite and DeskSite clients. Support for New Installation Mode: Classic Clients with Work 10 Email Management
You can now install iManage Work Desktop Clients 9.3.6 and iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.2 using the new installation mode: Classic Clients with Work 10 Email Management (EM). In this mode, you can continue to use the iManage Desktop Classic Clients' integration with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. In addition, you get to use the new Work 10 EM for Outlook integration, which enables you to file emails, meeting requests, and assigned tasks directly from Outlook to iManage Work.

Installing Classic Clients Automatically in Compatibility Mode
Support for New Installation Mode: Classic Clients with Work 10 Email Management (see above)
After installing or upgrading to FileSite 9.3.6, users may experience the following behaviours in Microsoft Outlook:
> Microsoft Outlook ribbon and navigation pane are unresponsive
> Launching Microsoft Outlook results in error: "Another version of Outlook is currently running. Close it and try again''.
Please review this advisory if you believe you are affected by one or both of these issues, and apply CSAR-2683 if required.

Recommended antivirus exclusions for iManage Work
Antivirus software can cause file-level locks that can block file access and disrupt processes that require exclusive access to files in order to function properly and efficiently. To ensure system stability and data integrity, iManage recommends configuring antivirus software exclusions.

Microsoft Word and Excel macros for DeskSite and FileSite expired December 2, 2018
DeskSite and FileSite include two macro files that allow for the use of select keyboard shortcuts with iManage Work Office integration in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel: iManO2K.dot, and iManO2K.xla. The digital signature on each of these files expired on December 2, 2018 after which time, the Save, Save As, Open, and Print keyboard shortcuts do not work with iManage Work Office integration in Microsoft Word and Excel. To avoid a Microsoft Word and Excel warning message and to prevent Word and Excel from disabling the use of the Save, Save As, Open, and Print shortcut commands following expiration of the macro security certificate, either install DeskSite/FileSite 9.3.6 or replace your existing iManO2K.dot and iManO2K.xla shortcut macro files with the updated macro files available in the CSAR-2663 patch release.
