Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for problem-solving and a knack for excellent communication? We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining client environments, providing top-notch support, and contributing to exciting IT projects. Your Key Responsibilities Will Be: 

​

  • Management, ownership, and actioning of first and second level support requests, and alerts

  • Day-to-day management of client environments such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune

  • Deployment and maintenance of Windows laptops and workstations

  • Assisting with projects, such as deploying Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and security solutions

The Skills You Possess Will Include:

​

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot and fault-find issues

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of desktop environments comprising Windows 10/11, and Microsoft 365

  • Practical knowledge of deployments and management of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD

  • Practical knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, such as restoring from backup, troubleshooting issues, and configuring backup solutions

  • Practical knowledge of troubleshooting and configuring networks, such as NAT, firewalls, VLANs, and WiFi

  • Practical knowledge of security solutions such as Multifactor Authentication, Antivirus/EDR, UTM

  • Practical knowledge of deploying software or configurations using management tools such as Microsoft Intune, or other RMM/software deployment products

  • Knowledge of virtualisation, such as Hyper-V or VMware

  • Exposure to Azure or AWS

  • Ability to generate and maintain documentation

  • Keen interest in technology and continuous learning

Desirable, but not essential

​

  • Azure Certifications – AZ-104

  • Microsoft 365 Certifications such as - MD-100, MD-101, MS-500

  • Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
