What is Follina
"Follina" is a vulnerability in Microsoft Office that features remote code execution, allowing attackers to run malware on the affected device. This can be triggered by opening or previewing a malicious Microsoft Office document.
What do I do?
As this is an emerging threat there has not currently been any patches released by Microsoft to solve the issue.
In the meantime, Microsoft have documented a workaround for the issue. OIA are currently deploying this workaround to customers covered under Managed Service Agreements. For other customers, please lodge a ticket through support and one of our solution engineers will assist.
