Updated iManage Support Position

Effective: 30 June 2026

Background

iManage Classic clients (FileSite, DeskSite, and COM API–dependent applications) and older on‑premises iManage Work servers reached:

• End of Support (EOS): 30 June 2023

• End of Life (EOL): 29 December 2023

For the last two years, OIA has continued to provide Level 1 assistance for customers still operating these legacy components. During that time, all customers with active iManage maintenance have had access to fully supported, modern iManage Work server versions and to the opportunity to migrate to iManage Cloud.

Need for Change

Given the age, risk, and vendor non-support of these older solutions, OIA can no longer sustainably or responsibly provide support for:

• iManage Classic desktop clients (FileSite, DeskSite, COM)

• Unsupported / EOL iManage Work server versions

• Third‑party applications dependent on Classic components

Continuing to support these platforms now introduces significant operational, security, and compatibility risks for customers and for OIA.

OIA's Updated Support Position

Effective 30 June 2026, OIA will discontinue support for all iManage end‑of‑life (EOL) desktop clients, server versions, and associated integrations.

After this date:

  • OIA will no longer provide Level 1 support for issues involving FileSite, DeskSite, Classic integrations, or unsupported server versions (e.g. 8.x, 9.x).

  • Issues arising from defects, compatibility limitations, or discontinued APIs cannot be escalated to iManage and will not be investigated by OIA.

  • OIA will only provide support for:

    • Current, supported iManage Work server releases (e.g. 10.x), or

    • iManage Cloud tenants, or

    • Modern desktop client environments: Work Desktop for Windows, Work Panel, Work Web, etc. (e.g. 10.x).

Note: While OIA will no longer provide standard support for end‑of‑life iManage solutions after 30 June 2026, we can still offer best‑efforts assistance from an OIA Solutions Consultant if issues arise, billed on a time‑and‑materials basis.
